Our Year 7 Science students participated in an exciting revision lesson focused on the classification of living things. They explored how scientists categorize organisms based on their shared traits, moving from broader kingdoms down to specific species.
The lesson was filled with engaging activities and collaborative discussions, where the students showcased their grasp of how classification aids our understanding of life's rich diversity on Earth.
They confidently provided examples from each kingdom and compared the characteristics of plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms. It was wonderful to witness their enthusiasm and teamwork as they geared up for the upcoming assessment on biological classification.
