College Leadership Team


Craig Wattam, College Principal

Craig has led a variety of Catholic schools and systems across Australia and is humbled and privileged to be returning to leading a boys' college in the Edmund Rice tradition. This is Craig's fourth principal appointment. He has served as Assistant Director of Schools in the Maitland-Newcastle diocese, and as Executive Director of Edmund Rice Education Australia. He is looking forward to getting to know the community of Ambrose Treacy College and partnering with families to provide an excellent education in faith and learning.

Craig holds undergraduate qualifications in music education and music performance, and post-graduate qualifications in religious education, education, and theology. His doctoral thesis and research interests are in the area of middle leadership in secondary schools.

Craig is married to Patricia, and they have three wonderful adult children. When he is not at work Craig enjoys running, cycling, reading, theatre, music, and dining out!

Jason Sepetauc, Deputy Principal

For the past 30 years Jason has enjoyed teaching outdoor education, physical education and religious education in a variety of contexts. He has taught and led in a variety of roles in EREA schools across WA, NSW, ACT and QLD. Jason has a Bachelor of Social Science, Graduate Diploma of Education, Graduate Certificate in Religious Education and a Master of Educational Leadership. Most recently, Jason held the position of Dean of Learning and Teaching at St Joseph’s Nudgee College. He has also worked as Acting Deputy Principal at Nudgee, and as both the Acting Deputy Principal and Acting Principal of Ignatius Park College Townsville. Jason will use his deep understanding of schooling in the Edmund Rice tradition to serve the Ambrose Treacy College community.

Liana Baillie, Dean of Learning

Liana has two decades of experience in education with the last ten years in boys’ education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science Human Movement Studies – Education, and is continuing her studies in Master of Educational Studies – Leadership at the University of Queensland. Liana began her teaching career in outback Queensland and brings leadership experience from both pastoral and academic portfolios in the P-12 and 5-12 colleges of Varsity College, Marist College Ashgrove, and Villanova College.

As the Dean of Learning, Liana is committed to students achieving holistic educational outcomes, ensuring their personal best is met with the support and expertise of the ATC staff.

Pat Webster, Dean of Faith and Mission

Pat Webster brings nearly two decades of teaching and leadership experience across Catholic schools in Queensland and the United Kingdom. He holds a Master of Educational Leadership and is completing a Master of Theological Studies. Pat seeks to promote a contemporary Catholic identity through dialogue and authentic encounter. His passions include faith formation that ‘meets people where they are’, boys’ rites of passage and creating inclusive communities where all feel ‘seen’. He is committed to developing retreat, immersion and service learning programs that foster character and compassion, and values deep engagement with First Nations communities through listening, partnership, and truth-telling.

As Dean of Faith and Mission, Pat is responsible for promoting and giving life to the identity of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition.

Tim Walker, Dean of Formation

Tim is a foundation staff member of Ambrose Treacy College and has spent more than a decade contributing to our story. With nearly 20 years of experience in Catholic education, Tim has held leadership roles across Formation, Curriculum, and Sport, shaping programs that promote the holistic development of students. He holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Science (Human Movement Studies – Education) and is currently completing a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne. Tim is deeply committed to creating environments where young people can flourish, with positive, trust-based relationships at the heart of this process. His passion for holistic development and wellbeing is informed by a strengths-based approach that values each student’s unique potential.

As Dean of Formation, Tim leads a team of Heads of House and Heads of Year to intentionally educate students socially and emotionally within the charism of Edmund Rice and the tradition of Catholic education. He works to foster a school culture that nurtures character, resilience, and a strong sense of community. Tim believes that when individuals experience genuine belonging, they are empowered to realise their full potential.

Hannah Jones, Dean of Business Operations

Hannah brings extensive experience in senior financial and operational leadership across the education and community services' sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), with a strong background in strategic financial management, governance and risk. Hannah has worked closely with school and sector leaders to support sustainable operations that enable strong educational outcomes. Hannah's professional background includes overseeing financial management, operational planning, and business services in various environments. Having worked across both education and community services, Hannah brings a collaborative and people focused approach, with a strong appreciation for the role that business operations play in enabling learning and wellbeing.

As Dean of Business Operations, Hannah is responsible for supporting the school’s financial and operational functions, ensuring resources, systems, and services are well managed to support staff, students, and the broader School community.
