At a practical level this means we seek to engage our young men-in partnership with their families-in learning which is grounded in our Catholic faith and intellectual tradition. We seek to develop faith filled, purposeful citizens who are committed to serving others, with the expectation of nothing in return. We commit to teaching our boys that at the heart of their schooling is a desire to make the world a better place through their words, actions, and leadership.
Our campus is ideally situated on the Brisbane river and is spacious, leafy, and inviting. We offer education for boys from Years 4-12, and welcome all. There are myriad opportunities for boys to engage in co-curricular sports, clubs, and the performing arts to complement their academic learning. We are in the business of pursing excellence in all that we do, with the requisite support for each individual in our care.
As an Edmund Rice school, we respond to the Gospel imperative to love one another by being a tangible sign of our faith in our lives, by standing up for what is right and just, by providing an education that is liberating for all, and by making all feel rightly welcomed and included.
I invite you to come and visit us and see what Ambrose Treacy College might offer for your son and your family.
Yours sincerely
Dr Craig Wattam
Principal of Ambrose Treacy College
2026 College Captain, Liam Middleton - "The 2026 Seniors' theme is Believe and our logo features an infinity chain around the word believe with the letter 'i' highlighted. This emphasizes that belief comes from within the individual and acknowledges the power every student at ATC has to influence others in all that they do. Believing that we can improve, that we can make a difference, that we are valued and loved - starts with the individual. ’Believe in yourselves, believe in our school and its values, and believe in us, your 2026 Senior leaders."
