Friendship, Connection and Community

As part of our House Friendship groups, Leinster House support Rosie's, a community group who provide support to individuals experiencing homelessness, social isolation, and loneliness. Rosie's volunteers from ATC offer friendship, acceptance, and community through street outreach, connecting people with basic amenities, other services, and fostering a sense of belonging. Rosies also works to raise awareness about homelessness and social isolation.

On a cold and rainy night in May, Leinster students and staff warmed the hearts of Rosie's clients at Roma Street Parklands, serving food, sharing stories, and stepping out of their comfort zones. With guidance from ATC Past Student Matthew Perissinotto and teacher Miss Tess Dwyer, our young men found purpose, pride, and powerful reflections in helping others. A big thank you to all involved. Your quiet acts of kindness made a real impact.
