We wish our families and the extended ATC community a safe and holy Christmas and a very happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you for another exciting year of learning, leading and serving in 2026.
Care & Concern | Helping Out in 2026 Expression of Interest
The ATC community is welcoming and friendly and we believe that when everyone is involved in the Ambrose Treacy life, it builds a strong and connected community. Volunteering is a great way to make friends and meet parents in your child’s year level and by signing up for Care and Concern or getting involved with P&F events, you are investing in your child’s future at ATC. Please go to the notice on the App and follow the link to register ‘Helping Out in 2026’. We look forward to welcoming you to our community of volunteers.

FAITH AND MISSION
Vinnies Christmas Appeal - Thank you!
At a recent assembly, Mrs Scott spoke not as our Librarian, but as a member of the St Vincent de Paul Indooroopilly/St Lucia Conference - one of about 15 local volunteers who meet monthly and visit companions in need weekly. Vinnies offers a hand up, not a hand out: food vouchers, help with electricity bills, mattresses and beds for those sleeping on the floor, and - often most powerfully - time to listen and pray.
Mrs Scott shared three real local stories: a young mum with two very small children rebuilding life after family violence; an elderly woman living alone who treasures a weekly chat as much as a grocery top-up; and a single dad with three teenage boys doing it tough after bereavement and job loss, whose sons still offer visitors a cup of tea despite an almost-empty fridge. These are families who live only minutes from ATC - and who will feel the impact of our Christmas Hampers directly.
Thank you, ATC community. Your generosity means our hampers will deliver food, gifts and dignity to local families this Christmas. Your kindness brings hope to homes - true Signs of Faith in action.
Building on this momentum, Year 10 students Xavier, Ethan and Cooper will launch the first ATC Vinnies Group next year, following their Ozanam Leadership Program. Their first initiatives included the Year 10 Vinnies de Formal with Brigidine College and our continued Vinnies Christmas Appeal. We are incredibly proud of these young men for modelling service and inviting all students to get involved.
So grateful for our incredible ATC community! Thanks to your generosity, our Vinnies Christmas Appeal hampers will make a real difference right here in Indooroopilly.

P&F NEWS
Helpers and Donations for the P&F hosted Staff Christmas Lunch
We have an incredibly talented and dedicated staff at ATC and with the end of the year and the spirit of Christmas almost upon us, we are aware that some families are considering the idea of a gift for staff. The ATC P&F coordinate and host a Christmas lunch on 2 December for staff, and the College would like to emphasise that the way for saying ‘thank you’ to our staff is by donating to this annual event. Contributions to assist with the catering costs are entirely voluntary and can be made via your Parent Lounge account. We also need helpers on Tuesday 2 December in the NJ Hall, to set up, serve food and drinks and pack down after lunch. If you can assist, please email Catherine Jackson, the event coordinator.
