Coming Up in Week 2

It has been a fantastic Week One for all our staff, students and caregivers! The infectious
enthusiasm in the classrooms, playgrounds and sporting fields saw old friendships rekindled and new ones blossom. Our Seniors’ theme of ‘Pave The Way’ reflects a holistic aspiration to create an inclusive culture of excellence in learning, leadership and service.

These aspects of our community was celebrated throughout the week through initiatives such as our Staff Professional Development Sessions, Open Classrooms, Junior School Music Demonstration Day as well as our Middle and Senior School House Gala Day.

SAFETY ON CAMPUS ROADS

Families are reminded that due to the construction of the new building in our Senior School precinct, there will be no access to the Senior School roundabout for student drop off until further notice.

Families are also asked to refrain from dropping students off in the carpark of Montessori Children’s House, as this carpark is exclusively for use by the Montessori families. We ask instead that caregivers drive to the ATC lower car parks for drop off/pick up purposes and to ensure that the 10km/hour speed zone is strictly adhered to, in order to help keep our community safe. We will have staff members on site at the entrance to the Montessori car park redirecting traffic as required to ensure that internal and local roads are not blocked. As we return to normal routines and the construction is underway, your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

WELCOME EVENT KICK OFF COCKTAILS

Each year, the ATC Parents & Friends organise a welcome night for parents and caregivers to get to know one another. Please join them at Wests Rugby Toowong, on Saturday 18 February from 6pm. Ticketing and further details will be shared next week on the ATC app.
