ATC Goes Pink

In preparation for Pink Day, on College assembly today we welcomed Professor Stacey Edwards, a world-renowned cancer researcher whose life’s work was inspired by her own mother’s journey with breast cancer. From a groundbreaking discovery in London that changed global treatment approaches, to leading the Functional Cancer Genomics lab at QIMR Berghofer, Professor Edwards has dedicated her career to finding smarter, more effective treatments for breast and ovarian cancer. Her extraordinary achievements include over $15 million in research funding and 80+ high-impact publications. Raising awareness and funds for further research makes a difference!

Our students’s showed their support by wearing pink to, from, and during school bringing a gold coin donation.

1 in 7 women are affected by breast cancer – they are women we know and love. This day is about awareness, solidarity, and support. Together, we can make a difference.
