Over two unforgettable nights, our talented Actors Studio performers took to the stage in front of more than 550 audience members from the ATC community, delivering a gritty and heartfelt production of The Outsiders.
With a sell out opening night, this was the largest audience yet for an Actors Studio performance at ATC and a true celebration of teamwork, talent, and storytelling at its finest. Adapted by Christopher Sergel from S. E. Hinton’s iconic novel, The Outsiders explores loyalty, courage, and identity through the eyes of Ponyboy and the Greasers.

Our cast’s emotional and authentic portrayal moved audiences to laughter, tears, and reflection, bringing this timeless story to life with depth and heart. The dedication of the cast and crew shone through every moment, from the raw performances to the atmospheric lighting, sound design, and staging.
One audience member shared that the show was “outstanding... a powerful and inspiring portrayal of loyalty, courage, and the struggle to ‘stay gold.’” Another described it as “a real rumble of heart, grit, and authenticity – a testament to the students’ talent and vision.”

This production not only showcased the extraordinary talent of our young performers but also reminded our community of the power of theatre to connect, challenge, and inspire. Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and creative team on a truly golden achievement.
Stay gold, ATC.
