Due to the promotion of our current Assistant Dean of Learning – Junior School to a senior position within Education Queensland, the Principal invites applications from experienced and passionate academic leaders for the following position:

Assistant Dean of Learning – Junior School (Years 4 – 6)

Commencing as soon as possible

We seek an experienced and passionate academic leader with substantial experience who:

  • Has a track record of implementing innovative solutions in identifying and implementing high impact teaching practices to support our Junior School classroom teachers.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of evidence-based strategies and data informed decision making to drive positive learning outcomes.
  • Is a positive, energetic and collaborative leader committed to continuous improvement of educational outcomes and curriculum development.
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration when providing expert guidance and coaching to Junior School teaching staff on best practices for inclusive and innovative learning.
  • Focusses on positive engagement with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
  • Upholds high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and teamwork in leading a team of dedicated staff.
  • Is committed to supporting student wellbeing.
  • Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration.
