World Environment Day
As we celebrate World Environment Day, we are reminded that caring for our planet is part of our faith. Catholic Social Teaching calls us to be stewards of God’s creation, protecting the earth for future generations and standing with those most affected by environmental harm. In caring for our common home, we live out our commitment to justice and compassion. We remind students that their common home at ATC is a beautiful setting which comes with a responsibility to care and respect the built and natural aspects of the campus and all those who share it.

Assessment and Reporting
Next week, end of Semester exams and assessment is a focus across the school. Students have been emailed their exam timetable and provided instruction by teachers regarding preparation. As always assessments can be reviewed through the Student Café and Parent Lounge. I hope sound study habits and a willingness to do your best, result in a productive assessment period for all students. Reports are scheduled to be released on the evening of Wednesday 24 June subject to the completion of assessment marking moderation.
School Officer Day
Wednesday 10 June: The Support Staff Difference
School Officer Day - Independent Education Union - Queensland & Northern Territory

School Officer Day is our opportunity to recognise and celebrate the vital role support staff play in education. Schools simply would not function without the dedication and expertise of support staff. Their work ensures that learning environments are safe, organised, and enriched with resources and care.
To show our appreciation, we will hold a lovely morning tea, bringing staff together to say thank you and celebrate the contributions of our support team. To all our support staff: thank you for your commitment, your professionalism, and the difference you make every day.

ATC Dash for Crash
The 2026 ATC Dash for Crash was an outstanding success, bringing together students, families, staff, Old Boys, and members of the wider community for a wonderful morning of fitness, fellowship, and fundraising.
More than 370 participants took part across the 5km, 10km, and half-marathon events, supported by over 130 volunteers who generously gave their time to ensure the event ran smoothly. The community also enthusiastically supported our raffles, with more than 1,100 tickets sold.
Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, the 2026 ATC Dash for Crash raised in excess of $10,000 for the Ambrose Treacy College Foundation bursary fund, helping to provide educational opportunities for young men of limited financial means.
The Dash for Crash continues to be a fitting tribute to the McMeniman family legacy and a wonderful example of the spirit, service, and community that define Ambrose Treacy College. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and helped make this year's event such a memorable success.
Thank you to our wonderful 2026 ATC Dash for Crash sponsors!

The journey doesn’t end at the gates — it begins again.
On Saturday 4 July, we proudly launch the Ambrose Treacy College Old Scholars Association, a milestone moment in our College’s story and the beginning of a new chapter for generations of ATC men.
This is more than an event. It marks the renewal of a brotherhood built on connection, shared values, lifelong friendships, and a commitment to the future of our community.
Join us in NJ Hall as we bring Old Scholars together to celebrate the official launch of ATCOS and usher in the next era of alumni engagement at Ambrose Treacy College.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Selladore, an Old Boys band made up of ATC graduates, performing live throughout the evening and providing the soundtrack to this historic occasion.
Refreshments will be provided, with celebrations continuing afterwards at the Regatta Hotel.
