Coming Up Week 2
Welcome back to the final term of the year. If you blink, you’ll miss Term Four 4 as it is only eight weeks and there is so much on. Four key events shape the following fortnight. AIC athletics, The Arts Festival, Pink Day and the completion of Year 12 classes.
AIC Track and Field
Our Athletics Team is currently competing in the AIC Track and Field Championships at QSAC. The carnival is still underway at the time of writing. For updates and results, visit:

Arts Festival
Running over the next two weeks, the Arts Festival is a celebration of student creativity across art, media, music, and drama. It’s a vibrant showcase of talent and inspiration, and there’s something for everyone. Students will engage in workshop during the school day across the two weeks and there are various opportunities for performance and showcasing talent.

Breast Cancer Pink Day
Next Friday, 16 October, is a Free Dress Day in support of Breast Cancer Pink Day. Breast cancer affects thousands of Australians and their families each year, and Pink Day helps raise awareness and support for those impacted by the disease.
Students are encouraged to wear a touch of pink and bring a gold coin donation to their Homeroom.

Year 12
Year 12 finish classes at 3pm on Wednesday 21 October ahead of External Exams which commence on Monday 26 October. We encourage all senior students to use these last couple of weeks of tuition as part of their preparation. The College wishes you every success in the coming weeks and looks forward to welcoming you back for Valedictory on Thursday 19 November.

FAITH AND MISSION
Vinnies Sustainability Social | Thursday 29 October 2026
ATC students are invited to join students from Brigidine College for the Vinnies Sustainability Social, an afternoon of trivia, speed meeting and dancing while raising awareness for the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society.
As part of the event, students are encouraged to wear a pre-loved outfit, perhaps sourced from a Vinnies store, to support the sustainability theme.
Please RSVP your son’s attendance via Parent Lounge by Monday 19 October 2026.

Our newly appointed College and Portfolio Captains were commissioned at Assembly this week, marking the beginning of their leadership journey. We were delighted to welcome parents and grandparents to join us for this important milestone.

ATC P&F Planning Meeting – New Parents Welcome | Tuesday 13 October
Parents and caregivers of students commencing at ATC in 2027 are warmly invited to join the next P&F Planning Meeting as we begin preparing for events and community activities for the year ahead.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other families, learn more about ways to get involved, and hear updates from College leadership. A range of volunteer opportunities are available, including Year Level Parent Liaison and event support roles.
