Health and Physical Education Teacher Years 4 – 6
(Term 2 Fixed Term Contract - Commencing as Soon as Possible)
We seek an experienced and passionate Health and Physical Education Teacher ready to make a meaningful contribution to both their faculty and the wider College community.
The successful candidate will:
- Show a clear understanding of, and genuine commitment to, Edmund Rice Catholic educational values, actively supporting the College’s mission and the holistic development of every student.
- Deliver high-quality teaching practice grounded in professional expertise, reflective thinking, and data-informed decision-making, applying evidence-based pedagogical approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of differentiation and its application within Years 4–6 HPE programs of excellence, contributing to a culture of ongoing academic growth and high expectations.
- Bring enthusiasm, positivity, and a collaborative spirit to the Junior School, inspiring colleagues and contributing meaningfully to exceptional student experiences and achievements.
- Exhibit strong assessment and reporting capabilities, maintaining accurate records and communicating student progress clearly, respectfully, and effectively with learners and their families.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider community, fostering a supportive, connected, and inclusive College environment.
- Demonstrate unwavering dedication to student wellbeing, recognising it as foundational to effective teaching, learning, and leadership.
- Hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
