Casual Relief Teachers
We seek Junior School (Year 4 - Year 6) and Middle/Senior School (Year 7 – Year 12) Supply Teachers to work within our College community.
Interested applicants for the Middle/Senior Years should outline their discipline areas and/or if you are interested in general relief and exam supervision duties in their Cover Letter.
Interested applicants for our Junior School need to have an understanding of the Primary Years Program (PYP)/Inquiry based learning.
It is essential you:
- Are available Monday to Friday and be available to be called in last minute to be on campus by 8:00am.
- Demonstrate commitment to the Catholic faith of the College and a thorough understanding of the Edmund Rice Education ethos.
- Have a passion for delivering engaging lessons within a contemporary learning framework as outlined in the Lesson Plan from the absent teacher.
- Are experienced and confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
- Become a positive, energetic and collaborative contributor to a highly successful boys school.
- Have strong assessment and reporting skills, including maintaining accurate student attendance records.
- Have a track record of positive engagement with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Uphold high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and teamwork.
- Are committed to supporting student wellbeing and Child Safe standards and complete all required training.
- Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration.
