Hospitality/Food Technology Teacher
Term 2 – Fixed Term Contract

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Hospitality/Food Technology Teacher (or teachers with transferable skills) to join our dynamic teaching team. If you’re passionate about shaping the next generation of chefs, food innovators, and hospitality professionals, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for a dynamic teacher who:
- Brings learning to life by delivering vibrant, hands‑on lessons in Food Technology and Hospitality for students in Years 7–12.
- Ignites creativity and confidence in the kitchen, helping students master practical skills and discover their passion for food.
- Supports VET pathways with confidence, drawing on experience in Hospitality (Certificate II desirable, not essential) to guide students toward real industry opportunities.
- Shapes and evolves curriculum, contributing fresh ideas, continuous improvement, and contemporary approaches to teaching and assessment.
- Draws on strong industry experience to deliver authentic, real‑world learning that connects classroom skills with current hospitality practice.
- Builds positive, professional relationships with parents, students, colleagues, and the wider school community, upholding high standards of integrity, communication, discretion and teamwork.
- Shows a genuine commitment to supporting student wellbeing and contributing to a caring, values‑driven school culture.
- Holds current Queensland College of Teachers registration and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred).
