Ambrose Treacy College (ATC) is a leading Catholic Years 4 – 12 boys school located in Indooroopilly with a cohort of 1,300 students. The Principal invites applications from experienced and Strength and Conditioning Coaches for the following position:

Athletic Development Coordinator

Commencing as soon as possible

We seek an experienced, qualified and passionate team member to:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance in designing and implementing evidence based strength and conditioning programmes.
  • Tailor specific programmes to the development needs of students to achieve in their chosen competitive sporting field.
  • Conduct one-on-one and small group training sessions to improve student physical capability and performance.
  • Review and identify programme improvement opportunities and implement proactive solutions based on evidence within the allocated budget.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development across a diverse range of sports.
  • Assist with the set up and delivery of Health & Physical Education lessons.
  • Support student wellbeing and uphold Workplace Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for all.

Qualifications and Licences:

  • Current Qld Blue Card (Working with Children) or the eligibility to apply.
  • Level 2 ASCA coaching accreditation or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic).
  • Medium Rigid Bus Licence or a Boat Licence (Preferable).
