Talent, Teamwork and Tenacity

Receiving a sport award is not only a great privilege and mark of excellence, is also a tremendous incentive for boys to strive and aim for accomplishments in other aspects of school life. This evening we will take the opportunity to celebrate the successes of our sportsmen and athletes during the summer season of 2017/2018.

In the business of schools it is always great to take the chance to acknowledge the achievements of our teams and our boys. Our awards reflect the philosophy of our College’s ambition to provide opportunities for students to realise their own personal excellence.

The Claddagh award

The Claddagh Award acknowledges individuals who demonstrate the following qualities in all aspects of training and competition.

Courage, grit, spirit and passion
Commitment to team mates and the College
A high level of skill demonstrated throughout the season

Most Improved award

The Most Improved Award acknowledges achievement of personal excellence through commitment, a positive attitude and personal effort.

An individual who has demonstrated a significant level of improvement in skill, knowledge and understanding during the course of the season.

In acknowledging these students it is important to also acknowledge the people who support our boys to achieve their personal excellence. I offer a genuine thank you to the following people for making our past summer of sport not just a possibility but a great success for our sportsmen and our community:

Thank you

  • To our parents, for your encouragement, transport service, logistics, patience and enthusiasm

Enjoy the evening!
