The Winning Trivia Table – Russian to Rio – for their trivia expertise

Well, we can now add another event to the world’s list of Greatest Moments in History with last Saturday night’s annual ATC Trivia Night. Amidst some of the sad, strange and chaotic events in the world today, it is nice to know that ATC can bring together such a tremendous community of creative, enthusiastic and competitive! folks to share a fun evening with!

We encourage our sons to get out, have a go, make new friends, have fun – and Saturday evening us ATC parents led the way by most excellent example! We had some great science, technology, medicine, culture and sport themes representing Great Moments in History on the night – including Brexit, Einstein, Immunisations, Apple iPhones, The Titanic, Scottish Independence, Fall of the Berlin Wall, Woodstock and Australia’s America Cup Win 1983, amongst many others.

Congratulations to all of our Raffle Winners and all Lucky Door Prize Winners. Special mention to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize Winners – Liz Ryan, Michael & Ann Bell, and Chris Simpson. Congratulations also goes to:

Best Dressed Table – Scottish Independence
Best Dressed Males – Chris Simpson (Woodstock) and Jamie Smith (Fall of the Berlin Wall)
Best Dressed Females – Lisa Morris (Man on the Moon) and Suzanne Roselen (Einstein)
And Special Congratulations to the Winning Trivia Table – Russian to Rio – for their trivia expertise.

Thank you to our host James McCreanor from Think Trivia, David Gardiner for judging best dressed and to The Honorable Scott Emerson Member for Indooroopilly, and his partner Robbie for joining us. Thank you to all our Trivia Night organisers – Kylie Pandy, Andrea McAvoy, Michelle Johnson, Be Yeo-Bradshaw and Dana Lutat – for your hard work pulling this great night together!

And finally, thank you to all our sponsors, especially those not named at the event on Saturday: Brookfield Produce and Pet Pavilion, Kenmore Village Florist, Health & Nutrition, Novotel Brisbane, Flying Fudge by Mitchell Bradshaw (8B), Brumby’s Chapel Hill, Café Bliss, The Olive Grove Café.
