Big Band – thanks to all in Big Band for a very successful term including our Sydney Tour; QCMF; Formal Music Concert and Orientation days – we have been super busy and congratulations on a job well done. We still have one of our most significant performances to come – the Jazz by the River on Saturday 15 October. Please ensure that over the holidays you continue to practise all of your material particularly the newest pieces such as The Chicken.
I can’t wait to get on the main stage!
Enjoy the holidays,
Mr Bolt
Singers – Junior Chamber Choir and Middle School Singers are involved in Jazz by the River also – please continue to look over your pieces during the holidays as we have very limited rehearsals prior to the event on October 15. Junior Chamber Choir – your rehearsal in Week 1 will be on Wednesday at 2nd break since the Monday is a public holiday.
Many thanks,
Mr Goopy
Jazz Ensemble – What an amazing term we have had! The QCMF performance was outstanding and blew us all away. Because of this, OUR ensemble has been chosen to perform at the Terrace Jazz Night on 21 October. So, keep working on your pieces during the holidays and be ready for us to do it all again at the ATC Jazz by the River on October 15 – make sure you have registered to come along. Terrace Jazz Night
Handbells – Thanks to all new and experienced handbell ringers who attended the Come and Try Handbells night last Thursday evening.
