Coming Up in Week 5

After four weeks of a ‘soft launch’ to our Latest News blog, we have taken feedback from members of the P&F at their meeting on Tuesday night. Consequently, we have made some slight changes to the headings of the blog. You will notice there is a separate tab for Parents and Friends to provide access to information on events that have been organised by the P&F committee and sub committees including year level events and whole College events.

We have also renamed the ‘Coming Up’ tab to ‘Deputy Principal’. My article will now include news and information of community events and key dates in the College calendar.

Navigating Around the New Blog

1.Because our blog is live on our website, you can conveniently use the ‘SEARCH’ engine at the top right hand side of the ATC website to look for information regarding any specific topic for example: ‘rugby draw’ will bring up the season game draw.

2.The blog is designed that the back arrow does not need to be used. Once in the blog to navigate around, always click on ‘All>’ or ‘<Back to Latest News’ links that appear at the top right of the page you are reading.

Our newsletter is an important aspect of our communication with our wider community. Typically NJC and ATC have produced a traditional newsletter. Due to the extensive range of activities that occur that old style of newsletter ran to a lengthy document. Much research was undertaken and decisions made to improve the form, function and availability of information to our College community.

Our latest blog format has been implemented and launched to address these growing needs of our community. We appreciate this is a significantly different style to our traditional PDF format but many news and information services have recently changed to a blog format. It provides targeted access to the information that you need via specific tabs.

The blog tabs are:

We hope you find the blog useful and with practice, an easy and convenient tool to find relevant information quickly.
