Here Comes Week 3

On Tuesday evening we held the first of three orientations for our new 2018 teaching staff. Eleven teachers spent time walking around the campus and in conversation with each other and key ATC staff.

They are an impressive group that will bring great diversity and skills to our current excellent staff. Three other new staff from interstate and intrastate have already been to visit for a day. The new staff come from EREA Colleges, other Catholic Colleges, Independent and State Schools. The diversity is very rich. Four additional teaching positions will be filled in the coming weeks. The growth in staffing reflects the growth of the College as we reach over 1000 students in 2019. Two weeks of the term have raced by and it is important to have assessment schedules in a prominent place to ensure important dates don’t sneak up on students.

The documentary is rated PG-13 however it does raise some sensitive issues. All students will be reminded of pastoral support available at the College should they feel uncomfortable around some of these sensitive issues.
