Community News Week 8

Having a wonderful P&F always ensures some wonderful events, however from time to time we also lend support to families and communities in need. Read on for how you can become involved in a very worthwhile cause.

Book Drive
Stephanie Donigi is running a Book Drive and is aiming to fill a shipping container full of books and other school resources to ship to Wewak, a small rural village in PNG. With the school holidays fast approaching, it’s a good time for a clean up. If you have some early learning books, teacher resources, Junior Encyclopaedias, readers, dictionaries, bibles, stationery, colouring-in books, please bring them to the ATC collection points in the first two weeks of Term 2. Volunteers to help pack the books up will be needed. Please email Stephanie Donigi.

Parent Directory
Consent Required to Publish Your Family Record

Each year, the ATC P&F compile a Community Directory for the convenience of ATC families. Email addresses for teachers, staff and departments are also included, making it a very useful publication. For families that have allowed the College to share their information with the P&F, we ask these families to supply us with the names of two contacts who would normally be involved in the transport arrangements for their sons. They will be included as Contact 1 (main contact) and Contact 2.

An email was sent to you on Friday 17 March from the ATC P&F ( to one parent, or in some cases to both parents in each family. The email subject is ATC Community Directory 2017 – Consent Required to Publish your Family Record. If you can’t see this email in your inbox, please check your junk mail or promotions folder. In most cases, only one parent will receive this email.

In this email, you can click on “My ATC Parent Profile’ green button (at the bottom of the email sent to you) and your information we have on file for you will be filled in. Please read the email thoroughly, check, update or delete any information you don’t want included. Most importantly you MUST give your consent/non consent to having your family information being published in the Community Directory. Please check your record and give your consent/non consent by Friday, 24 March 2017. Any questions, please email your P&F.
