80 Year Celebrations
On 10 July 1938, a long cherished dream of the Christian Brothers was realised with the opening of Nudgee Junior College and thus began the first 76 years of education on this site. Ambrose Treacy College opened its doors in 2015 and our building program has continued through to 2018. We do hope that you will join us for two significant events that week, beginning with Mass on Sunday 14 October and the grand finale, Jazz by the River on Saturday 20 October. Booking details are below.
We begin the week with a special Mass being held this Sunday 14 October at 9.30am in Nudgee Junior Hall. This is a significant occasion where past, present and future students and families of both Nudgee Junior and Ambrose Treacy College along with former staff and current staff come together again as one community. The theme of the mass will be centred around one of hope, of gratitude and of brotherhood for our fellow people. We look forward to seeing you there and invite you to join us for morning tea after Mass.
These attractive wooden cheeseboards, designed and lasercut by some of our Design students are for sale for $20 each. There are a limited number available and can be bought online via Flexischools, at morning tea on Sunday after mass or at College Reception. They are selling fast so don’t miss out!

There are two things that you can be guaranteed of to signal the start of an ATC cricket season…. Jacarandas in bloom and RAIN! We are of course very pleased to see so much rainfall, however we can expect a few disruptions to training and games over the coming weeks. With a significant amount of rainfall forecast over the coming days, please keep an eye on the College App for updates on all outdoor co-curricular activities, in a particular in relation to cricket. The rules of club cricket are that unless there is a significant weather event and games are called off on the Friday evenings, all players must go to the game venue at the designated time and the two coaches will make a decision regarding the viability of the game.
