It is only a minor change but one that will help to streamline information from this department. My blog will be posted to ATConnect each Thursday beginning next week. I hope you continue to enjoy reading our co-curricular news. Also, over the last two weeks, planning has been finalised for the various co-curricular activities at the College and we are looking forward to seeing the start of these programs.
From the music program, to clubs and sport, every boy at ATC is encouraged to find an activity per term to participate in. With an intentionally inclusive philosophy, our aim is to offer a host of activities which will capture the interests of all of our boys. If you son is having difficulty finding an activity to participate in, I would encourage you to contact Mr Jonathon Bolt (Head of Co-curricular Music, Mr Nathan Burgess (Head of Sport and Coaching Development), or I to discuss what the possibilities are.
I would like to thank the hundreds of people who have installed our very user friendly College App. You will find all the information that you require for ATC Co-curricular life via this tool. As always, I appreciate your feedback so please do send through any suggestions that you might have so we can continue to develop this valuable form of communication.
Cricket and Volleyball
This weekend will see the first full round of trials against a number of different schools. Boys are to be at their venues at the time advised, wearing full school sporting uniforms, ready for what promises to be a great start to the season.
The cricket canteen is staffed by parents for the benefit of the sports program at ATC. We ask ALL teams to volunteer for canteen serving and homebake to support the boys and College. We appreciate all teams to help out at anytime during the day. Click to volunteer your time and register your homebake.
If you are interested in playing water polo at the College, please contact Mrs Merryl Bennett. This is an energetic and fun team sport that builds explosive power and is a great cardio workout. firstname.lastname@example.org
