ATC Swimming Program

Recent news: Autumn is again proving to be very warm this year- We offer a 5-week swim programme in Term 2 and Term 3. Our next 5-week program commences Monday 16 May. We have places available in Squad, Stroke Development and Learn to Swim. The pool is heated and we swim all year round. Please don’t hesitate to email me.

The Ambrose Treacy College Swimming Program operates all year round out of an eight lane heated 25m pool. The program covers ‘learn to swim’ classes, stroke development classes, introductory development squads through to state and national level squad programs. The swim program also works in conjunction with the Ambrose Treacy College Swimming Club. This club facilitates the competitive aspect of swimming by offering club nights during the summer months and access to all club level completion (club, regional, state, national).

The staff at ATC swimming have many years of experience and a vast knowledge of the swimming industry. Head Coach and program coordinator, Paul Jones has been operating swim schools and coaching all levels including national medallists for the previous 25 years. Swimming strength and conditioning coach Fiona Kearney also has 25 years’ experience in the fitness industry. Fiona also coordinates the daily bookings and all class organisation. Our casual staff come from various backgrounds and all have competitive sporting experience and a love of swimming and working with children.

Our goal at ATC swimming is to provide all swimmers with the opportunity to become excellent swimmers who can achieve their swimming goals. Whether that be a safe recreational swimmer or an elite national level competitive swimmer, everyone is catered for in this program. We do this by combining excellent swimming technique skills with fitness levels to match the needs of the swimmers which then allows the full development of the swimmer.
If you are interested in joining the ATC Swimming program then more detailed information about times and costs can be found at the link below.
