Coming Up for Week 3

15 October 2021

The College was awash with pink today as we showed our support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The aim is for the students to have some fun but more importantly to focus on this insidious condition that affects women but, importantly for our boys to understand, can also affect men. On this day especially, we stand in solidarity with all families within our community who have been affected by breast cancer. Funds donated today will be provided to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for research.

Coming Up in Week 9

Father’s Day is a special day for all father figures in our community. Our boys need good role models – both male and female and at ATC we understand the significance of this. I wish all our fathers a very special Sunday and hopefully there will be plenty of time well spent. Fathers, Uncles, Grandfathers, neighbours, coaches and teachers all play a significant part in raising our young men. We were disappointed to cancel the scheduled Father’s Day Breakfast this year, due to the uncertainty of restrictions earlier in the term, but hopefully next year will see the return of this significant community event at the College. I hope you enjoy your family celebrations.
