Your Community News

Year 4 families at the P&F 'friend-raising' afternoon.

We trust that everyone is settling into the school year. With so much information to digest, it can all become a little overwhelming. Hence, this week our news is short and sweet. Just two things to remember this week….

  • Book your tickets to our Welcome Night on Saturday, 25 February
  • Come along to our first P&F meeting for 2017 on Tuesday, 7 February at 6:30pm in the Mt. Sion Staff Room (behind the Junior School library) – ALL WELCOME.

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Year 4 welcome event and the Middle School Welcome Morning Coffee. By all accounts everyone had a lovely time mixing with new and continuing families. We hope that these events have been a wonderful opportunity to meet each other and see the wonderful ATC community spirit at play. Of course, no event runs without the efforts of our wonderful organisers and volunteers – thank you.

Let us introduce our Year Level Coordinators for 2017:

Year 4 – Cassandra Bridges
Year 5 – Dana Lutat
Year 6 – vacant
Year 7 – Helen Davidson
Year 8 – Trish McKenna
Year 9 – vacant
Year 10 – Anda Bakker and Catherine Malherbe

The Wilston Grange footy club this Saturday is holding a carwash fundraiser. $10 for outside, $15 for inside, or $20 for both. There will be heaps of food stalls down there too so you can have breakfast while the car gets a wash! All money goes to a familyfrom the club who have had their baby born prematurely in Melbourne whilst on holidays. Mum and bub need to stay there for up to 3 months. If you can’t make it but wish to donate, you can go to the Go Fund Me Facebook page to support this family.
