P&F News and Events Week 9 Term 3

Our wonderful school spirit and the culture of ATC is alive and well with a number of community events held over the last week. Last Friday morning was the Father’s Day Breakfast which served up a record number of bacon and egg rolls and sausages to hundreds of dads and boys. That a wonderful atmosphere to see Dad’s with their sons, enjoying catch-ups with other families and even playing a game of ping pong or two!

As with many of these events, they are not possible without the help of our parent volunteers. Special thanks go to Donna Densley, Laurraine Murray and Andrea McAvoy for all of their hard work in organising and running the morning, the ATC Groundsmen for their assistance in setting up the venue and help with clean up, and of course the many parents (some of whom arrived at 5am) to help with set-up, cooking, serving and clean up.

At our AGM we elected a new Executive for 2017. We congratulate our new and continuing P&F members for 2017-
President – Martin Bradshaw
Vice President – Brett and Judith Solomon
Secretary – TBC
Treasurer – TBC
The P&F are seeking parents to fill these last two roles on the Executive. Due to the College taking on the overall responsibility for the accounting of the P&F, the role of Treasurer is somewhat diminished in terms of the accounting aspect. Both roles requires a parent with a minor time commitment and basic organisational skills. Please contact the P&F if you require more information or to express your interest in taking in a role.

Today and tomorrow we welcome new Junior and Middle school families to ATC at the Orientation mornings. Thank you to our volunteers who will help with this event to make it a wonderful success. If you are able to assist tomorrow (Friday) morning please click here or if you need more information, please contact Helen Davidson on 0407 982 543.
