P&F News and Events Week 10 Term 3

As the term draws to a close it is time to reflect on another great term of opportunities where our school community comes together. As always, none of this would be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers. Thank you to all those who have helped with so many events this year an in particularly at last night’s Sports Presentation Evening.

At our orientation days alone, the show of community spirit as tea and coffee were poured, and savouries and sweets were served, has led to some new families stepping forward to nominate for P&F positions – WELL DONE to everyone, and specifically Helen Davidson for assisting the school in organising the morning.

Regarding our AGM held last week, congratulations to Martin Bradshaw for continuing in his role as President for another year, and welcome to Brett and Judith Solomon who are going to share the Vice President role. We will be able to announce the Secretary and Treasurer roles following our next monthly meeting. Thank you to our outgoing Vice President (Michelle Johnson), Treasurer (Diana Taylor) and Secretary (Sharon Ward). We know that many hours have been put into these roles over the year, and the P&F definitely appreciate this. Please download the link below to read the President’s Report for 2015/16.

Another successful ATC Car Show was on display on Sunday. Once again, a great event for families to come to and admire past, present and futuristic motoring genius. Special thanks to Paul Gleeson for organising and to the UQ Racing Team and all exhibitors.

Last night was the first of hopefully many, Sports Presentation Night’s. What a great event and congratulations to all the boys who show their school and team spirit in everything they undertake. This was evident with the great school spirit shown last night. Special thanks of course to our P&F Sports Support Group (Andrea McAvoy, Donna Densley and Helen Hicks) for helping make this event a reality.
