Lenten Giving

Our final week of term brings the Lenten appeal to a close and we can reflect on how our students have been involved in giving to and serving the community. Congratulations to the following Middle School students who have found time around assessment and exam block to contribute to the Service Program.

Volunteer Soccer Coach

Billy from Year 7 has been volunteering as a soccer coach for his old primary school. He not only helps with soccer skill training, but also communicates using Auslan (sign language) for the deaf students on the team. That way no one misses out!

Mateship

Seb and Aiden both Year 9 students spent Sunday morning helping out at the Twilight Run supporting Mates4Mates as part of their service hours. It was hard, physical labour. They enjoyed their time doing the service learning together and supporting each other.

Keep up the good work boys!

Don’t forget to take photos of any service you may undertake and email them to Signum Fidei
