Community News Week 8 Term 3

Community group meetings and holiday ideas are all part of our community news. Please read further to see holiday tips from the Art Department and details of the West Brisbane Asperger Support group meeting coming up on September 15.

In the Art department we always encourage our boys to talk about Art they have seen or exhibitions they have been to, so if you are looking for creative things to do on the holidays the free GOMA children’s art centre will have activities around the The Gabori Sisters exhibition and Ah Xians Sculptures. If you haven’t seen it, get along to see everyone’s favourite the hilarious Michael Jackson Video installation which is showing again.

For Beach goers, The Swell Sculpture festival at Currumbin is on again and is always a highlight of the start of the holidays. We look forward to celebrating the creative work of your boys at our Art Show at the Jazz by the River Festival in early term 4. Book your tickets here: Please see the attached flyer for full event details and book your tickets early by following this link to Trybooking https://trybooking.com/216010
