News from the P&F Meeting
We had a great turnout of parents to our first P&F meeting on Tuesday. It was great to see some new faces and we welcome all parents along to our next meeting on Tuesday 7 March. It is a great chance to catch up on what is happening in and around the College, and to meet other parents and carers.

Volunteering
You will see information coming from our Sports Support Group, including requests for assistance on the sports canteen. Please consider volunteering if your son is playing a home game as the old adage ‘many hands make light work’ is true. Please refer to the app each week for the canteen and set up duties and go to Volunteerlocal to register your name and grab a timeslot.

Sport Education Breakfast – Strength and Conditioning
Each year we facilitate Sport Education sessions which cover a range of topics relevant to sport. Students, parents, siblings and staff are very welcome to attend. Our first Sport Education session is on Thursday 16 February and will be held at Westcourt from 6.45am to 8.00am. A coffee van will be available and a light breakfast will be provided. The topic for this terms breakfast is Strength and Conditioning. We will be covering the context of contemporary lifestyles and the implications on the body, an overview of the philosophy and the facilitation of the ATC Strength and Conditioning program and the correlation between Strength and Conditioning and performance in sport. This talk is open to all members of the ATC community. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to Steve Davidson for organising the Working Bee that occurred the Sunday before school began. We had plenty of helpers which resulted in the College sparkling and looking clean for our boys start to the new year.

If you would like to be more actively involved in the P&F, please email P&F Secretary, Samantha Leblang. samanthaleblang@me.com If you would like more information about your P&F please see the COMMUNITY tab on our website and become familiar with the 2017 Executive.
